Organin is a temporary hair thickening solution (Hair Loss Concealers) that eliminates the appearance of baldness and thinning hair for both men and women. Organin is textured natural substance that is made up of natural keratin fibers is seems to be clinically proven to be safe. Organin is not a cream based solution but more like a powder kind of substance that you have to sprinkle on your scalp. The natural substance of Organin will then bind your existing hair and form a layer of hair on your scalp, that makes your hair look fuller and thicker.

If you are not looking at the expensive hair loss treatments such as hair transplants, minoxidil solution, etc., then Organin could perhaps be the best natural hair loss remedy for you. Moreover, Organin stays on your scalp all day until you wash it out and can be discontinued whenever you want. Organin does not seems to have any side effects, except that if it causes any irritation, you should stop using it any further.

How to: Thicken Hair with Organin Hair Thickening Fiber

Follow the steps mentioned below to obtain best results with Organin.

After the shower, blow your hair dry without applying any gel or anything like that.

Now that your hair is completely dry, apply gel and allow you hair to dry for about 10 minutes.

Sprinkle small amounts of Organin onto your scalp where the hair is missing or is less. Continue to sprinkle until the bald area is covered and then gently pat your hair with your hand.

Finally, apply hair spray (optionally) to keep everything intact for longer duration.

Organin Hair Thickening Fiber, 28 g, 90-day supply is available for as low as $29 on Amazon.

Hair multiplication, or hair cloning, is a process in which dermal papilla cells are taken from hair follicles, multiplied in the lab and injected into the scalp. Researchers believe that this technique could be the most effective in treating hair loss in both men and women.

Hair multiplication is currently developed by Intercytex, a UK-based biotechnology company and is called ICX-TRC.

ICX-TRC overcomes one of the principal drawbacks of conventional transplants which is that the outcome is limited by the amount of donor hair available. By using the Intercytex cell therapy technique almost limitless hair regeneration is possible in a less invasive procedure. Furthermore, treatment can commence early on in the hair loss process with retreatment available in subsequent years. The barrier to commercial success for ICX-TRC is relatively low, being the ability to increase hair count in transplanted or thinning areas.

However, Intercytex had backed out of the tests and wished to continue the development of ICX-TRC in partnership with a specialist in the aesthetics field. Bosley, the largest chain of hair transplant clinics in the US, was given the option to negotiate distribution rights to the product.

We will have to wait for a couple of years more before this technique is available to all of us.

Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a palm plant found mostly in North America along the Atlantic coast in Georgia and Florida. Saw Palmetto is used in treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as BPH, in many countries and considered to be a herbal alternative medicine to treat BPH.

Saw palmetto is very popular as a herbal hair loss remedy and is used to treat male and female pattern baldness which is also known as androgenic alopecia. The role of saw palmetto in treating hair loss could be compared to Finasteride, the most popular medicine used to prevent hair loss.

However, how saw palmetto works in treating hair loss is not clearly known. There are no acceptable clinical trials or studies that suggests saw palmetto for treating hair loss in men and women. Saw palmetto is known to have side affects that include nausea, vomiting, erectile dysfunction, diarrhea, constipation and stomach pain. This herbal supplement may not be safe for you everyone to use and needs caution.

The effectiveness of saw palmetto in women, pregnant women and children has not been determined. Therefore, pregnant women are strongly recommended to avoid using saw palmetto and rather consult a doctor if experiencing hair loss.

Conclusion: Saw palmetto is believed to treat hair loss in men and women but has no clinical studies to call it safe for treating hair loss. Effectiveness and safety of saw palmetto for hair loss treatment is not yet determined, so avoid using it.

A healthy diet that’s rich in vitamins, proteins, minerals, folic acid is not only important for health but also equally important for hair growth.

The following are the vitamins recommended for hair loss prevention and treatment.

Vitamin B - This vitamin is not only required for health of the body but also for the growth of hair on the scalp. A member of this vitamin family called Vitamin B12 is the most important vitamin required for hair growth. Vitamin B12 is essentially required for formation of red blood cells and maintenance of nervous system. Vitamin B12 is found primarily in eggs, milk, meat, dairy products, soya products and cheddar cheese. An adult, man or women, is recommended to have an intake of 1.5 µg/day.

Vitamin C - This vitamin is required for growth and repair of tissues in our body. It also plays a key role in repair and maintenance of bones and teeth. Vitamin C also serves as an antioxidant. This vitamin must be obtained from external sources such as food items since our body can not produce it and also since it’s a water-soluble vitamin, there must be a continuous supply to the body. Citrus fruits and juices tend to have the highest amount of this vitamin, although all fruits and vegetables have some amount of vitamin C in them. Dry and splitting hair is often a symptom of deficiency of Vitamin C in our body.

Vitamin E - This vitamin is believed to help prevent hair loss by improving the circulation of oxygen in the scalp. Other than that, Vitamin E protects us against the effects of smoking and lowers the risk of heart attack. Vitamin E is found primarily in meat, fish, oatmeal, tomatoes, carrots and others.

Can Nizoral shampoo really prevent hair loss?

Nizoral shampoo is primarily used to treat dandruff related problems with the hair on the scalp. It contains a drug called ketoconazole that is found to be very effective in the treatment of fungal infection of the scalp on the head and another type of the shampoo is quite popular for treating dandruff.

Ketoconazole is mainly used to treat infections that are caused by yeast or fungus. Ketoconazole helps in treating these infections by preventing the growth of fungus or yeast of killing them. There are many creams available in the market based on this drug that are used to treat the following:

Ringworm

Tinea pedis, also known as ringworm of the foot

Yeast infection of the skin

Some popular product names that use this drug are Nizoral Shampoo, Nizoral Cream and Nizoral A-D Shampoo.

So, if the scalp on your head has fungal infection that is causing hair loss, Nizoral shampoo can treat the fungal infection and prevent further loss of hair. But, if you are suffering with hair loss that is not caused by fungal infection of the scalp then Nizoral won’t be of any use. Nizoral can not treat or cure baldness!

One should not depend only on a shampoo to prevent hair loss. Consult a doctor to diagnose the causes of hair loss and get treatment accordingly.

Diabetes and hair loss are deeply connected. It is known to cause hair loss in both men and women. Diabetes eventually leads to hair loss in those who have it.

Hair loss is often considered to be one of the early symptoms of diabetes. It is caused due to disorder of the hormones in the body and such hormonal imbalance can cause thinning of hair that may eventually result in complete loss of hair.

Hair loss and diabetes go hand in hand. Diabetes causes excessive anxiety, the so called stress, that is one of the prime causes of hair loss in adults. People with diabetes have very slow hair re-growth cycle that results in visible hair loss on the scalp and sometimes affects the hair on other parts of the body such as leg hair loss.

Diabetic people are also known to have fungal infection on the scalp that takes a very long period of time to treat and cure. This is because the time taken to heal wounds and bruises in diabetic patients is relatively much higher when compared to a healthy person. This can also cause loss of hair in patches on the scalp.

Therefore, it’s advisable to consult a doctor if you experience sudden hair loss so that diabetes can be detected early for effective treatment.

The following are the causes of hair loss in young women.

Protein malnutrition is responsible for causing hair loss in most young women. The diet they consume is often low in protein that cause the hair to go into the resting phase and the hair then sheds much earlier. Hair loss caused by insufficient proteins in the body can be stopped by having a healthy diet. Once the healthy diet is started, the hair loss gradually reduces and stop within 3-4 months.

Improper hair care can cause hair loss in young women who are more likely to color their hair, use shampoo frequently, perm hair too often and use chemicals to treat their hair.

Iron deficiency is another cause of hair loss in young women. This is due to the frequent changes that their body undergoes. A doctor must be consulted as some women have problem absorbing iron in their body and a doctor could give iron supplements depending on blood tests.

Women who take birth control pills can experience hair loss. Always consult a doctor before you start taking a particular brand of birth control pills. Not every type of birth control pill may suit your body.

Like any other medicine, homeopathy can only work towards treating the conditions that indirectly causes hair loss in men, women and children. But it can not cure hair loss that’s caused by male pattern baldness in men.

Homeopathy could be very effective in treating illness and diseases that indirectly causes hair follicles to shed hair in the scalp. Unfortunately, homeopathy has not discovered a remedy yet to cure hair loss, such that hair growth is restored, that was caused by male pattern baldness.

If you are a man whose hair loss is hereditary, also known as male pattern baldness or alopecia hair loss, then homeopathy can not cure it. However, it may help bring down the level of DHT in the blood that may slow down the hair loss.
